Core services

Eight consulting disciplines

The scope of Rovetex assistance is wide. These are the typical assignments — combined and shaped to the needs of each client.

01

Corporate Audits

A team of consultant engineers builds long-term and short-term strategic and tactical plans, based on the identified strengths and weaknesses of your production, marketing and financial areas.

Recommended corrective or improvement techniques are included wherever applicable, so the audit ends with a plan, not a report.

What you get
  • Strategic and tactical plan (short and long term)
  • Production, marketing and finance assessment
  • Prioritised improvement roadmap

02

Operations Audits

A senior consultant evaluates every operating department: organisation, machines and methods, management control systems, labour and machine productivity, maintenance, training, costing and cost control, production planning and inventory control.

Corrective action is outlined where needed, and potential cost savings are quantified.

What you get
  • Department-by-department diagnosis
  • Productivity and efficiency benchmarks
  • Quantified savings potential
Productivity & cost reduction
03

Performance Planning

Once problem areas are identified — through a detailed discussion, a preliminary survey or a full corporate or operations audit — a Rovetex engineer, supported by a senior consultant, plans and implements the corrective action.

The objective is concrete: the targeted cost reductions, quality improvements or systems improvements.

What you get
  • Corrective action plan
  • On-site implementation
  • Measured cost, quality and system results
04

Factory Planning

When you consider a new factory, an extension, or replacing old machinery, Rovetex delivers a full feasibility study based on expected product mix, sales prices and input costs — including machine specifications, layout plans and building and services requirements.

Rovetex also controls erection and start-up. Full use of our specialised skills can considerably reduce total investment.

What you get
  • Feasibility study and capacity balance
  • Machine specification, tender comparison and layout
  • Erection supervision and start-up
Feasibility studies & new mill planning
05

Marketing Assignments

Our marketing section carries out field investigations for new or existing products.

Because these projects usually depend on present or modified production methods, the market study and the plant analysis are developed concurrently.

What you get
  • Market and product field research
  • Product–process fit analysis
  • Marketing strategy design
06

Management Training

Rovetex designs and delivers in-company training courses at any management level, or provides informal management coaching as part of any consultancy project.

Training is built around your own mill, your data and your people.

What you get
  • In-company courses at any level
  • Coaching inside live projects
  • Management information and controls
07

Operator & Fixer Training

On-site training for operators and fixers when you launch a new project, or when performance falls below standard because of missing skills or knowledge.

We also provide personnel selection procedures that match operators’ and fixers’ skills and natural aptitudes to the jobs they do.

What you get
  • On-premises skills training
  • Performance-to-standard recovery
  • Personnel selection procedures
08

Management & Executive Selection

Our textile expertise and international experience let us support senior staff selection with real technical judgement.

Rovetex handles the initial advertising and screening, presents a shortlist and, if required, advises on the final choice.

What you get
  • Search and screening
  • Technical shortlist
  • Final selection advice
Project management

A new plant is not routine work.

Every few years a company builds or restructures a plant. Treating it as routine — run by internal resources alone — is expensive.

Project management coordinates everything needed to build or restructure a plant: design, purchasing, civil works, machine erection, training, testing and start-up. Its task is to optimise every resource — people, materials, know-how and capital.

Rovetex appoints the project manager, responsible for the whole project, supported by a project team supplied by the client, by Rovetex, or by both. Progress is reported to the client’s management weekly or every second week, with full budget control and supplier-payment oversight.

AI practice · textile-specific

Six places AI pays for itself in a textile plant.

Each AI engagement starts from a classic Rovetex audit, so the technology is aimed at measured losses — and savings are quantified before the project begins.

AI-01

AI Readiness Audit

Our operations audit, extended: which data you already have, which losses it can explain, and a ranked roadmap with costs and expected returns.

AI-02

Vision Quality Control

Camera-based fabric inspection at the loom, knitting machine and finishing range, tied to your acceptance standards and sampling rules.

AI-03

Predictive Maintenance

Downtime analysis becomes downtime prevention: models that flag failing components before machine efficiency drops.

AI-04

Planning & Forecasting

Demand forecasts and schedules that update with real production results — built for short runs, small orders and fast collections.

AI-05

Energy & Materials Economy

Optimisation of dyeing recipes, water, steam and power — where cost pressure and environmental requirements meet.

AI-06

Mill Knowledge Assistant

The know-how of senior technologists and fixers, captured in an AI assistant that trains new staff and answers questions on the floor.
